As most of you probably know, DuckTales Remastered has been a great success. And I've been thinking lately. Why should DuckTales be the only game remade for HD consoles? Why not the Master System/Game Gear Sonic games(Sonic 1, 2, Chaos, Triple Trouble, Blast) and the other Capcom/Disney NES games(Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales 2,etc.) I asked WayForwad about HD remakes for those games and they replied: "We really enjoyed working on DuckTales, and it would be great to work on more classic licenses like it in the future. With the games you listed, I think any sort of remake would depend largely on the publisher's perception of fan interest (and marketability). There's not much we can do to influence them, but you never know, maybe if enough fans let them know a market exists, they might take notice." So, maybe with ALOT more fan support, HD remakes of these games (and probably more) might be in the near future.
